Alistair Mackintosh - electric bass and upright bass (double-bass) Alistair is one of the most in-demand bassists among Winnipeg's roots circles. He plays upright acoustic bass (double-bass), as well as the electric six-string bass guitar. Alistair has come a long way since starting out as a member of the Fat Cat Blues Band in the early 1990s. He is forever seeking eclectic settings, be it blues with Mercy Mercy, or traditional, folk and popular francophone tunes with Big G, or rockabilly with The Throbtones.
